Paulo Sande have a singular expertise in european institutions. For more than two decades, Paulo Sande develop his professional activity between Lisbon and Luxembourg. In order to share his knowledge with the current and future european generations, Sande is author and co-author of numerous publications about European Union and Guest Professor of the Political Studies Institute (IEP) of the Portuguese Catholic University.

Was responsible of the information and communication PT sector of the European Parliament, in Luxembourg, and, in Lisbon, administrator and diretor of the Office of the European Parliament in Portugal.

Former student of the Military College, Paulo Sande is graduated in Law by the Law Faculty of the Lisbon Classic University and have a Master in Political Science and International Relations at IEP (2000), with honours for awarded thesis (“The Political System of the EU”, Principia Editor, Estoril, 2000).

Paulo Sande is Political Adviser to the President of the Republic and Guest Professor of the Political Studies Institute (IEP) of the Portuguese Catholic University (UCP), coordinator of the “European Construction” discipline.

Usual commentator of european and international affairs, at RTP3, SIC-N and TVI24, is author and co-author of numerous publications about European Union, namely “Manual of the EU”, with Sónia Ribeiro, to be published in 2019, Portugal.
In january 2016, received from President of the Republic the Commend of Officer of the Henry the Navigator Order, for “its contribution for the success of the Portuguese European integration”.
